How to protect your land
A protected region keeps your base, home, chests, and land safe from other players. STAFFLAND uses WorldEdit to select land and WorldGuard to create and manage regions.
⚠ PROTECT YOUR LAND FIRST
Do not leave valuable resources in an unprotected building. If the area is not protected, the region system cannot restrict access by other players.
01
SELECT
Select two opposite points of your area.
02
EXPAND
Expand the selection through the full world height.
03
CREATE
Give the area a unique region name.
04
CHECK
Make sure the region has been created and that you are its owner.
STEP 1
GET THE SELECTION TOOL
1.1
Get the WorldEdit wooden axe
Enter the command below. A tool for selecting the two region points will appear in your inventory.
//wand
SELECTION TOOL
STEP 2
SELECT TWO POINTS
2.1
Select the first corner
Stand near one corner of the future protected area and click LMB with the wooden axe
on a block. This will be the first selection point.
2.2
Select the opposite corner
Move diagonally to the opposite side of the area and click RMB with the wooden axe
on a block. The space between the two points will become your current selection.
2.3
Leave extra space around the house
Do not select the region exactly along the building walls. Leave extra space around the base for future extensions, a farm, storage, or a yard.
STEP 3
PROTECT THE REGION VERTICALLY
3.1
Expand the selection vertically
To protect the entire vertical area rather than only a few blocks in height, run:
//expand vert
FULL HEIGHT
STEP 4
CREATE THE REGION
4.1
Choose a region name
The name should be clear and unique. It is best to use Latin letters, numbers, and underscores.
/rg claim name
CREATE REGION
EXAMPLE
If your nickname is Stafary, you could name the region:
/rg claim stafary_home
STEP 5
ADDING FRIENDS
⚠ ONLY ADD PEOPLE YOU TRUST
An added member may gain access to actions inside your region. Do not add random players just because they ask.
/rg addmember region nickname
Add a player as a region member.
/rg removemember region nickname
Remove a member from the region.
/rg addowner region nickname
Make a player a co-owner of the region. Use this only for someone you fully trust.
/rg removeowner region nickname
Remove a player from the region owners.

HELP
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I selected the wrong second point. What should I do?
Simply select the correct second point again with the wooden axe. The latest selection will replace the previous point.
I already created a region, but I want to make it larger.
Select the desired area again, run
//expand vert, then use /rg redefine name.
A friend should no longer have access. What should I do?
Run
/rg removemember region nickname. If you added them as an owner, use /rg removeowner region nickname.
The command says I do not have permission.
Make sure the command was entered correctly. If WorldGuard specifically reports a permission issue, contact STAFFLAND administration — some commands may depend on your group's permission settings.
✓ DONE
After creating the region, be sure to check it with /rg info. Your nickname should appear among the region owners.
