How to set a home point

A home point lets you save an important location and return to it later with one command. STAFFLAND uses EssentialsX for homes.

STAND THERE

Choose the exact location you want to return to.

SAVE

Create a home point with the /sethome command.

RETURN

Use /home to teleport.

MANAGE

Create, move, and delete available points.

CREATING A BASIC HOME

Stand in the desired location

Stand on the exact block you want to teleport to. Choose a safe place inside the house rather than a roof, lava, water, or a cliff edge.

/sethome

Return to the saved point

After creating a point, you can be far away from your base. To return home, run:

/home

AVAILABLE HOME COUNT

The number of available home points may depend on your privilege. If your group has access to multiple HOMEs, each point can have its own name.

/sethome base

Create a named point base.

/sethome mine

Create a separate point near the mine.

/home base

Teleport to the home named base.

/home mine

Teleport to the saved point mine.

/homes

View the list of available saved home points.

Move to the new location

If you moved, first stand where the new point should be.

Set the HOME again

For a basic point, use /sethome. For a named point, use its name again.

/sethome base

Deleting an unused point

If you no longer need the point, delete it with the command /delhome.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why can't I create another HOME?

You may have reached the home limit for your group or privilege. Delete an unused HOME or check what your privilege allows.

Can I name a HOME using Cyrillic?

For maximum compatibility, use short names written with Latin characters: base, mine, farm.

I set the HOME in the wrong place.

Stand in the correct location and use again /sethome or /sethome name.

The HOME exists, but teleportation does not happen.

Check the server message. Teleportation may have a delay or may be temporarily unavailable in certain gameplay situations.

Protect your base first, then set a HOME inside the protected area. This lets you return quickly and reduces the risk of losing your belongings.
